Welcome to Illuminate Acting Academy BKK (IAAB) where we bring true Western style / Method / Meisner forms of acting to Thailand. All courses take place at Illuminate Acting Academy BKK / Comedy Club Bangkok – above The Royal Oak Pub.

New enrollment starting May 4th, sessions every Thursday 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Do you want to become an actor or improve your acting skills?  In this Level One course we will work on deepening your connections to act truthfully and strengthen your concentration for both on-set work and auditioning with higher success rates. 

A key to better acting is developing world class listening skills and reacting truthfully in any given circumstance.  In this class, we will sharpen these skills with techniques and exercises that will enhance your focus and concentration.  These skills can be applied anywhere onset, on stage, or in front of a camera.  This first level class will also begin to delve into script work and how to strengthen your character choices.  This course is not only a must for those wishing to become an actor, but is also great for developing self-confidence and public speaking skills, and connecting with new likeminded people.

About your teacher

Founder and lead teacher Erich Fleshman, is from California and has worked extensively in front of the camera as an actor and behind them as an acting coach since 1997.  He was trained as an actor by Jim Jarrett, the great Sanford Meisner’s last teaching protégé and has also worked alongside award winning actors from all over the world.  Erich has also worked at Thai universities at every level teaching film and acting courses.  He brings these unique experiences from both the Thai and Hollywood industries to his acting academy.
