Bally Sagoo is a pioneering figure in the Asian Underground music scene, which emerged in the late 1980s. Born in India in 1964, he moved to England as a child and grew up in a diverse community in Birmingham. Influenced by a range of music genres, including R&B, reggae, and disco, Sagoo began creating mix-tapes and remixing English tracks as a teenager. He gained recognition in the early 1990s with his remix of "Hey Jamalo" by Malkit Singh, and went on to produce platinum-selling albums, including "Wham Bam" and "Magic Touch" with Qawwali maestro Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

Sagoo signed with Sony Music in 1994 and released "Bollywood Flashback," which became the biggest Indian remix album of all time. He continued to produce successful albums, including "Rising from the East" in 1996, which included chart hits "Dil Cheez" and "Tum Bin Jiya." Sagoo also produced music for Bollywood films and mainstream movies, and started his own label, Ishq Records. His latest single, "Kinna Chauna," was released in 2023.

Throughout his career, Sagoo has been recognized for his contributions to the music industry, including being invited to meet the late Indian President Shankar Dayal Sharma in 1997. He has collaborated with artists such as Apache Indian and Taz Stereo Nation, and continues to attract a wide and discerning audience with his unique fusion of traditional Indian subcontinent flavors with contemporary music genres.

This event will take place at Flamenco Sky Bar, and feature support from Thailands own DJ Ash, Sly Gabru (Australia), and introducing Tricksingh from India, an up and coming Punjabi Rapper with an international twist.
