After a 28-year career, the Freestylers have fully traversed the Bass Music landscape, playing at the world’s biggest festivals, most iconic nightclubs, and even appearing on the quintessential British TV show, Top of the Pops. With accomplishments that many artists can only dream of, they’ve never rested on their success.

Aston and Matt began making music together in the mid-90s, bonded by their shared love for Hip-Hop, Electro, and Breaks. Their debut albums «We Rock Hard» and «Pressure Point» were released on the legendary Breakbeat label Freskanova. Later, «Raw as F**k» and «Adventures in Freestyle» dropped on «Against The Grain», a major Breaks label from Brighton, UK. From being named «Best Band» by Muzik Magazine in 1998 to touring with Lenny Kravitz (personally invited by him) and playing for 30,000 fans at Glastonbury in 1999, they’ve had an incredible journey. They’ve even performed at MTV's Times Square Millennium Party and graced the stage at Big Day Out in 2005.

Starting as pioneers of Urban Electronic music, their early tracks like «B-Boy Stance», «Ruffneck», and «Warning» established them as groundbreakers. As their sound evolved, so did their anthems, with tracks like «Punks», «Boom Blast», «Fasten Your Seatbelt» (in collaboration with Pendulum), «Painkiller», and more recently «Cracks». Beyond their underground status, the Freestylers have achieved mainstream success with their global hit «Push Up» and have had their music featured in various TV commercials and films, including «Zoolander», «Dude, Where’s My Car?» and the more recent «Sisters».

Renowned for their eclectic style and rebellious approach to production, they explore every corner of the Bass Music spectrum. Their fifth studio album, «The Coming Storm», showcased this diversity, while their current single «Spread Love» blends Bassline House and Breaks for a dancefloor-ready hybrid sound. With upcoming releases like «Hypnotic Eyez» and the «Club Tracks Vol. IV» EP, the Freestylers continue to push boundaries, proving they’re here to stay and still rocking harder than ever.
