Our all-day dining venue reflects the passion points and personal interests of Princess Valaya Alongkorn, an aunt of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The princess's Kandhavas Palace once stood on the spot occupied now by The Athenee, so it is fitting that the hotel's largest and most prominent dining outlet should honor its royal heritage.

A signature part of the far-reaching renovation, for which The Athenee won the Five Star Asia Pacific Property Award for "Best Hotel Interior Thailand", Rain Tree Café, embodies an elegant space dedicated to epicurean excellence.

Three distinct but complementary zones are conceived to complement each other as if elements in the palace's ground-floor plan.
