Jungle Jam BKK returns this November with a powerful line-up featuring two heavyweights of the drum & bass world. Representing the iconic Playaz Recordings, we bring you the explosive sounds of Tyke, accompanied by the lyrical mastery of MC Magika on microphone duties... AND NOW>>> JAYLINE too!!!

TYKE:
There are many sides to Playaz’ resident Music Maker from his youth as a graffiti artist to the fact he wrote the first ever foghorn tune (about five years before anyone else) or the fact he released one of Particle’s earliest tunes on his label Holographic Audio. But there are many more sides waiting to be revealed.

A rebel in every sense, Tyke's graffiti roots laid the foundation to be a drum and bass powerhouse. From London's rail network to the forefront of the scene, his style is sharp, vibrant, and relentless. 

Signed to Playaz, Grid Recordings, and creator of Paradigm Music, Tyke's influence is unparalleled. With early vinyl releases as far back as 2008, such as “Inner City Whore” (Source Recordings), followed up by releases on Dreadnaught, Grid and Sonic Art Recordings, there was plenty of early support from legends like Andy C. His tracks hit hard and deep, fueled by a passion for analog gear. Known for his playful alter egos and tracks like ‘Infected Headphones’, Tyke has been hailed as ‘The Godfather Of The Foghorn’ by Noisia. 

With a knack for timeless hits like 'Mind Games' and full support from top DJs worldwide, Tyke is poised to dominate the drum & bass realm for years to come.

It’s worth checking out his massive back catalogue of productions, with hit EP’s including ‘The Music Makers,’ ‘Dream Catcher’ and ‘What’s That Noise’ (ft. Daddy Earl) - to name but a few.

MAGIKA:
MC Magika, a veteran ‘master of ceremonies’ hailing from the United Kingdom, has earned his place as one of the foundational voices in the rave and electronic music scene. He was regularly featured at many of the big UK raves in the mid to late 1990s including Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Fantazia, and on the dance music compilation Dancemania Speed sub-series. Magika has presented on MTV Dance, hosted radio shows, and in 2022 he even started a martial arts academy in Stirchley, Birmingham (UK)!
Also known for one of his previous roles as Carl Cox’s MC, Magika’s career spans the entire evolution of the UK underground, from the original old-school raves of hardcore, jungle, and drum & bass. 

With performances across the globe, he continues to be a dynamic presence on some of the biggest stages and events in the industry. Magika has performed and worked with the biggest names in the game and has played a key role in the progression on the drum and bass scene, both domestically (UK) and internationally. His impressive roster includes iconic brands and events like the Drum & Bass Awards, Raveology, Jungle Gathering, Back to the Roots, Time Machine, and Sanctuary Forever. 

As a producer and having been featured on many featured tracks, MC Magika’s legacy is one of passion and influence, and he remains a celebrated and highly respected force in electronic music culture - worldwide.

JAYLINE:

Jayline is a renowned drum and bass artist known for his high-energy performances and infectious beats. With over a decade of experience in the music industry, Jayline has established himself as a prominent figure within the drum and bass scene. Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Jayline's passion for music began at a young age. He started producing music in his teenage years and quickly gained recognition for his unique sound. Influenced by artists such as Andy C, DJ Zinc, and DJ Hype, Jayline's music is a fusion of traditional drum and bass with modern electronic elements. Jayline's discography includes numerous hit tracks and collaborations with some of the biggest names in the industry. His music has been featured on popular radio stations and played at festivals and clubs around the world. Known for his energetic live performances, Jayline never fails to get the crowd moving with his infectious beats and dynamic stage presence. In addition to his music career, Jayline is also a respected producer and DJ, working with up-and-coming artists to help them hone their skills and develop their sound. With a dedicated fan base and a reputation for delivering top-notch performances, Jayline continues to make a significant impact on the drum and bass community.
