Having sold out Bristol’s famous Lakota venue with his annual birthday bash, with a hefty backlog of releases on his label OCC Recordings, along with Dread Recordings, Born on Road, Elektrikal Sound System, Playaz, and Jungle Cakes, and a New Zealand and Australia tour, 2023 is looking bright for Jappa. Since achieving over 2M streams on his hit ‘Bad Boys (Jappa & Ben Snow Remix)’, and following popular release on OCC ‘Waterworks’, Jappa has been at the front and centre of UK DNB culture. This year, Jappa released the much-requested remix of the classic ‘I Need a Dollar (Jappa Remix)’  by Ed Solo & Deekline on Jungle Cakes, which has been making the rounds on social media.
