No trip to Krabi, nay Thailand, is complete without visiting Hong Island. As we leave on our fully equipped double decker boat (with toilets, speakers, fantastic vibes) you have enough time to enjoy the view and the breeze, work on your bronze tan, take pictures and meet your new best friends.

Our first stops are Koh Lao Ka and Koh Cha Bang just off the coast from Hong Island. Here we don our assigned swimming goggles, snorkels and vests to dive into the aquatic life of the Andaman. The intrepid adventurers can practice their backflip skills from our rear platform. Before we continue our journey to the main island, we refresh ourselves with complimentary slices of fresh watermelon and pineapple.

There are so many things to do on Hong Island, which is why we spend between 1 1/2 to 2 hours here. An absolute must-see is the 360° view point for the kind of scenic pictures you send to your friends and family to show them how amazing your life is right now! Another highlight is the nature trail which safely takes you through a jungle area of the island. Of course, the beach is always available for relaxing and getting your daily dose of vitamin D from the sun. The stores and small food court provide you with everything you need from food dishes, snacks, souvenirs and more. Time moves fast when you are having fun, so eventually we have to say goodbye to the Andaman jewel and move on.

However, our cruise is far from over! Next up is another gorgeous snorkel spot followed by a Thai buffet on the boat to replenish your energy. Once you have had your fill, we are off again to enjoy a stunning sunset out on the ocean, so better get your cameras ready. And this is not even the end! As the sun sets we are on our way to the last snorkeling spot, where we are swimming with bioluminescent plankton - an absolute highlight that is not to be missed! However, all good things must come to an end eventually as our boat is heading back to the mainland and with our shuttles back to beautiful Ao Nang.
