⏭️ ABOUT NICOLA CALBI.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born in Stigliano (MT) Around 13 he began to love house music, with the first music CDs that gave us a great passion for the many nuances.

From there the musical evolution was very fast. Expand your tastes and opinions thanks to the various exchanges of opinions, comparisons and sharing with friends such as Ario, Florian Meindl, Martin Patino, Gas, Gianni Callipari, Alli Borem, Outart, Manfredi Romano, Alex Picone to name a few. Growing up with more organic, minimal and tribalism influences with electronic and latin cues, he seeks the first approach to production by mixing various points of view with origins that are still instrumental and folkloric.

In the winter of 2011 he finished his first release entitled "Santochirico" under the label aka "Once upon a time" on Flash Records, a label owned by Florian Meindl. Later, in the same year, various artists always arrive on Fontek records, a Rimini label managed by Ario, Luciano Buscemi and Luis Martinez.

Finally released in December 2012 with his first ep on galvanic rec called "Sub Tutela dei" which has found numerous hits for various Italian and international artists. Still busy on the front of individual and / or partner releases, in addition to this dance he has a series of projects that will give hope for a successful career.
subsequently he began a two-year collaboration with the Infinity events agency and label, based in Reggio Emilia, which will be able to offer a large part of his repertoire by making three EPs and a remix with Martin Patino and numerous feedbacks for many tracks of these eps, in the meantime he starts his own more mainstream project on a tech house trend with his dear friend Luky on which he will remix for Ben teufel's Antura records which will be supported by many international artists, these projects will release the projects on very important labels such as Sanity di Cuartero, Clarisse by Mendo, Wow recordings by Mar-T and Luc Donzelli and a beautiful vinyl with more shades on Admaiora by Rini Skhembi and Gezim Vrioni with remixes by Philip Bader and Alfa Romero, more deeper and techno versions.
In the meantime his solo-journey continues with a remix for Deeperfect records with Rainier Zonneveld hosted by Stefano Noferini ... ... always looking for new sound and experimental, in the summer of 2014, release a Cadenza podcast of Luciano collecting numerous positive feedbacks.
In the following years he had the opportunity to exhibit his music on much thicker labels in the electronic field, 2017 is the year of the release of his single "Variazioni sonore" on Desolat Music Group by Loco Dice, all this allowed to Nicola to collaborate and get to know the likes of Loco Dice, Yaya, cuartero, Daniel Sanchez, Reboot, Matteo Spedicati, Hector Couto, Basti Grub, Livio e Roby, Cesar Merveille, Felipe Valenzuela, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Luca donzelli, Mar-T, Philip Bader and many others in the professional field even on different genres outside its musical landscape.

Moving to Barcelona in 2017, Nicola has the opportunity to get to know the artists who have always supported his music best, also sharing the console with them in places like Macarena, Club4 and many others in the Spanish city, sometimes moving on occasional dates. .. after the Catalan experience which lasted 2 years, having acquired new stimuli and new influences to devote to his songs ... Nicola decided to return to Italy and stop with the musical journey for a couples of years in order to research and update new ideas and new sounds that can be proposed and then applied in the reopening of his project in 2020.
Within the year 2022 he had the opportunity to experiment and better resume the djing aspect by performing in excellent events in countries such as ecuador, peru, colombia. Brazil, Costa Rica and Mexico.

Currently he has started a solid friendship with the producer Felipe Venegas, artist with the maximum musical expression, this allowing him to release his latest ideas on Drumma records, one of the best South American labels of electronic music in the world.
