Khana Bierbood (Live)

Khana Bierbood (translated as Strange Brew in Thai), formed in 2012, in Bangsaen Beach in Thailand. After hours of jamming together they started create their unique sound influenced by 60's surf music, 70's garage rock with Thai traditional music. One of the leading bands in the region will be joining downstairs taking over the main warehouse space for a special show, the likes you have never seen before! If you haven't heard them already, check them out on bandcamp, and be prepared for one of the most exciting bands to come out of Thailand in the last decade.

Isaac Aesili & Juice Willis (Live)

The Māori brothers Juice Willis & Isaac Aesil are joining us for a special B2B live session. Arguably the greatest musical pairing to be exported out of the region in the last decade, if you haven't seen them play together before, get ready for an absolute sunset delight,

Isaac Aesili is a Māori musician, DJ and music producer from New Zealand based in Bangkok. He was the producer and creative force behind Funkommunity and Sorceress (Wonderwheel Recordings). His music has been supported by DJs such as Bill Brewster, Gilles Peterson, Benji B, and Jamz Supernova. A world-renowned musician, Isaac is a member of the Lord Echo band whose trumpet playing features in many collaborations, including ‘Midnight in Peckham’ by Chaos in the CBD (Rhythm
Section) and ‘Layer’ by Julien Dyne (Wonderful Noise/BBE). His music styles include deep house, R&B and soul music mixed with jazz, hip-hop, reggae, Brazilian, Latino and Afro vibes. Isaac’s most recent EP ‘Runaway’ is out on Bastard Jazz (New York).
Juice Willis was one of our first guests' at RomRom, and we are delighted that the big man is joining us again, this time as part of a world beating tagteam.
When he's not gallivanting around Bangkok for deep-fried pork belly and Thai moonshine, he's most likely knee-deep in thousands of shitty records sifting for gold. Half of Bangkok’s Sabai Sabai Radio, 20% of local collective High Time, and sole proprietor of online Thai record store Mahanakhon Soul. Juice Willis is known for his uncompromising attitude toward musical quality that is very much indebted to the struggles of the underprivileged peoples of the world.

Endo Nao

Music director of CCC -Listening Cafe- which opened on Sukhumvit 22 corner. Moved from Tokyo to Bangkok in search of deep Southeast Asian music. Spiritual jazz, psychedelic rock, reggae, and global underground music are the keynotes for his selection, which are highly rated not only on the dance floor, but also by radio heavy listeners with discerning ears. He is in charge of the monthly program “Lotus Groove” on Internet radio TSUBAKI FM in Tokyo.

He is also active as a member of the music collective CMYK and has performed at numerous festivals such as FFKT and the Tokyo Crossover Jazz Festival.

If you have been to see the pair recently, you know what to expect, Loads of high energy global disco, dug out from all corners of the world, heavy with that sound that we oh so love at RomRom. Also, keep an eye our for their upcoming SueSue dropping soon.
Let them take you on a journey to another dimension with their cosmic boogie.

Brent Burns

The man who needs no introduction... Bangkok's best friend.

Brent Burns is an effervescent DJ who's lit up dancefloors across continents, effortlessly lifting spirits with his seasoned blend of eclectic musical fire. As anyone lucky enough to have witnessed Brent in full-flow will attest to, Burns is a selector who prefers not to be restricted by generic boundaries. While the authentic '90s house sounds of the UK undoubtedly form the backbone of his sonic repertoire, he skilfully weaves elements of Italo, Balearic, and leftfield grooves into his tempo-spanning sets.

Arguably best-known as one of the founder members of roundly adored Bangkok-based collective, Transport, he's moved crowds at some of Asia's most venerated venues and festivals. He's made memorable appearances at prestigious Thai festival, Wonderfruit, and Vietnam's internationally recognised Quest Festival and Savage nightclub, and is a regular performer at boutique festivals Fly To The Moon and B2TG.

His turntable adventures started at a tender age, learning the ropes as a fresh-faced 15-year-old before going on to organise monthly events at venues in legendary UK party city, Manchester. Before relocating to his current Asian base, he performed at some of North West UK's most celebrated parties, including Warehouse Project, MuMu, Monocult, Hard Times, and Tangled. In his home city of Bangkok, you'll find him setting the mood in the city's most beloved bars and venues, frequently manning the decks at the likes of 12x12, Studio Lam, Goja, Tropic City, Bangkok Island, and Never Normal.
