Stand up comedy hits Koh Samui again with a special headlining show Artur Akhmetzyanov from Russia!

Artur Akhmetzyanov is the winner of the 2018 Bangkok International Comedy Competition and Singapore’s only Russian comedian. He’s performed live in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan and the Philippines. Artur has opened for international comedians like Neal Brennan, Brendon Burns, Ahmed Ahmed, Alistair Barrie, Dwayne Perkins & Jinx Yeo. He’s been a part of Magners International Comedy Festival, Singapore Comedy Fringe and StoryFest: International Storytelling Festival Singapore.

Matt Wharf (Comedian from AUSTRALIA)

Matt Wharf is a 10 year veteran of comedy. His first stint in stand-up was from the mid-90s through to
early 2000s. In Matt’s first ever standup show in 1995 he was first runner up in The Campus Comedy Competition at Latrobe University Melbourne. From there Matt worked his way up to a popular action both The Melbourne and Sydney comedy scenes culminating with his Melbourne Comedy Festival
cult hits ‘The Millennium Bugs Me’ 1999 and ‘A Wharf over Troubled Water” 2000. Matt has also opened for such names such as Tom Rhodes (Comedy Central), Pete Lee (Jimmy Fallon), Phil Kay (BBC) Craig Campbell (Canadian Comedy Legend) and Joe Rooney (Father Ted).

The show will take place at the Holiday Inn Resort Samui - Bo Phut Beach. Happy hour from 6PM - 7:30PM
