The Bangkok St. George’s Society Annual Anniversary Ball is an event that recognizes and celebrates St George, England's patron saint. The most widely recognized symbol of St George's Day is St George's cross. It is a red cross on a white background, which is often displayed as a flag. And, is also used as England's national flag, forming part of the Union Flag, the national flag of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Over the last 45 years, the club has provided support and a social network for its members from the English Expat community of Bangkok, alongside its associate members (whether they be nationals of the UK or just hold an interest in English culture.) Through their events, the society has also had the pleasure to raise awareness and funds for well-deserving local charities and in doing so giving back to the local community in which it’s members now find themselves at home. This ball will be a great opportunity to connect with the English people and business owners based in Thailand. And, expand your network within the English community.
With the help of Thailand's leading PR agency, the committee has decided to take its members back in time to the cobbled, backstreets of Birmingham with Peaky Blinders theme night complete with whispers of dodgy dealings that is the underworld of the ‘Peaky Blinders’. This theme is a great way to pay tribute to the wonderful decade of the 1920-30s.
