Bangkok Art Biennale Foundation, in collaboration with Alliance Française Bangkok, presents a special evening of live performance and film screenings of The Spirits of Maritime Crossing I & II, directed by Prof. Dr. Apinan Poshyananda.

Presented in connection with the third edition of St. Moritz Art Film Festival in 2024 and the 60th and 61st International Art Exhibitions – La Biennale di Venezia in 2024 and 2026, The Spirits of Maritime Crossing traces journeys between Venice and Bangkok, exploring migration, identity, memory, desire, loss, spirituality and transcendence. Through encounters between contemporary art, performance and film, the project reflects on physical and spiritual crossings—across cultures, places and states of being.

The evening begins with a 20-minute live performance by Pichet Klunchun and Mutmee Pimdao Panichsamai, followed by screenings of The Spirits of Maritime Crossing Part I & Part II. The programme concludes with a Q&A with the director and participating artists followed by refreshments.

มูลนิธิบางกอก อาร์ต เบียนนาเล่  ร่วมกับสมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพ ขอเชิญทุกท่านร่วมค่ำคืนพิเศษที่รวมทั้งการแสดงสดและการฉายภาพยนตร์ The Spirits of Maritime Crossing I & II ผลงานการกำกับของศาสตราจารย์ ดร. อภินันท์ โปษยานนท์ 

ผลงานชุดนี้จัดแสดงเกี่ยวเนื่องกับ St. Moritz Art Film Festival ครั้งที่ 3 (พ.ศ. 2567) และ La Biennale di Venezia ครั้งที่ 60 และ 61 (พ.ศ. 2567 และ พ.ศ. 2569) โดยผลงาน The Spirits of Maritime Crossing ตามรอยเส้นทางสายน้ำระหว่างเวนิสถึงกรุงเทพฯ เพื่อร่วมสำรวจเรื่องราวของการย้ายถิ่น อัตลักษณ์ ความทรงจำ ห้วงปรารถนา ความสูญเสีย จิตวิญญาณ และสภาวะการหลุดพ้น ผ่านการปฏิสัมพันธ์กันของศิลปะร่วมสมัย ศิลปะการแสดงสด และภาพยนตร์ ผลงานชุดนี้ตั้งคำถามถึงการข้ามพรมแดนทั้งทางกายภาพและจิตวิญญาณที่สอดประสานไปตามวัฒนธรรม พื้นที่ และสภาวะตัวตน  

ค่ำคืนนี้จะเริ่มต้นด้วยการแสดงสดความยาว 20 นาที โดยพิเชษฐ กลั่นชื่น และพิมดาว พานิชสมัย (มัดหมี่) ตามด้วยการฉายภาพยนตร์ The Spirits of Maritime Crossing ภาค I และ II และปิดท้ายด้วยช่วงถาม-ตอบกับผู้กำกับและศิลปินผู้ร่วมสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน พร้อมรับประทานอาหารว่างร่วมกัน
